It would be a 0star if there was an option! Basically, I insured my car in early Jan, wanted to enquiry about free cinema tickets as they had advertised it would come along with the car insurance, tried to use the chat service in their website but it doesn’t work. No contact number and the Twitter thread doesn’t work either! Was thinking to cancel the insurance because in case if have to claim in future it’ll be problematic having to try to find way to contact them. But when I try to cancel the policy, they charge admin fee and service fee of £100. That’s literally the half of my insurance amount insurance!

Awfal called to make an enquiry on claiming however I didn’t make a claim as decided to pay privately as I was told it would take nearly a month to receive any payout.On checking my policy they have put down I have claimed and taking away my no claims bonus.No payment was received or accepted so by making an enquiry with them you will still be penalised for your no claims.Avoid these scammers at all cost

This company have cancelled my insurance and given me no explanation on why. This has left me unable to get insurance with anyone else as I have had my insurance cancelled. I spent hours on the phone trying to get a reason and they said they couldn’t go into any detail. my policy number was FPM6015532519FC to prove it is a real review. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I thought they would be good as they repeatedly came up as the cheapest on price comparison sites, however their customer service is awful. They don’t respond properly and are unhelpful when they do. I don’t normally complain about companies but this is the third time I’ve had an issue with them in just over a year. They are continually trying to get extra money out of you. I will not be using them again no matter how much cheaper they are

Truly terrible company Went to renew my policy and came in at £280 above the all other insurance companies Wouldnt budge on it for no reason Even when I told them that starting a new policy with them with exact same criteria would be £194 cheaper they still didnt budge They are crooks and just interested in extracting as much money out their customers above any other consideration Stay away there are plenty of better insurance companies out there

good price on the actual insurance policy but Already a bit put off as getting charged a 50 pound admin fee when I as the customers we are filling in all the details online and not actually had any dealings with the company as yetBe better to review at the end of the policy for a true perspective on the company and renewal price offer is what people are most interested in in the current climate which is when I discover my true opinion about insurance company’sBut so far 4 stars

My Son took out a Car Insurance policy then two months later they sent an e mail stating he owes another £180 as he failed to advise a claim on another policyThis was never a claim and Esure confirmed this was closed,and they sent proof of his 4 years NCB , which he sent to 1st Central so they are fully aware there is no claim.In fact his premium was calculated on one years NCB instead of four years as the NCB Cerfificate issued by Esure so in fact they owe him moneyIt is nearly impossible to get through to 1 st Central and every e mail address I can find, they very conveniently for 1 st Central say they do not reply to the e mail address. Very Poor Customer Care

Your company made a mistake with the start date of my new policy, resulting in me driving my family around in an uninsured vehicle. And then when I realised what had happened, I was told I’m expected to pay a further £50 to correct there mistake or even if I wanted to cancel a policy that hasn’t even started yet. An absolute joke, you should be ashamed.

Think your getting the a cost effective insurance quote? Think again.Used this company a few years ago and they were alright.Now….They charge for everything, no matter how much you try to help. Never experienced this in all my years of driving and seeking insurance. Terrible company but then again aren’t all criminal organisations…sorry I mean insurance companies.

I updated my payment card last year and kept getting late payment charges for reason beyond my knowledge as I had money in the account. Turns out the card wasn’t authorised and no one thought to inform me of this case.

Obviously nothing can be done about the unjust late fees for the past 3 months, complete joke of a company but all insurance companies are so never surprising.

I’m assuming these are paid reviews or questionable in their source as there is 0% chance this company is worthy of it’s 4.5 stars.

Very difficult to cancel your policy. You will have to call their call centre. Their website offers all the services to easily manage your policy but they conveniently forgot to add an option to cancel it should you decide to do so.

Renewed insurance with them, now they’re asking for some forms from DVLA which cost money to get and no other insurer asked for. Paid 300£ for whole year and if I want to cancel they’re charging me 280£ for 38 days.

Total scam company, locks you in then does whatever they want.

I’ve been with this insurance company for four years and my income paid date changed.I informed 1st central at the beginning of January and they couldn’t not change my payment date so they cancelled my insurance. Not happy with this decision at all.So much for loyalty!!!.

The quote i received did not match the information it put in through confused.com. I then contacted them to ask them to amend it to the information that should have been used and was told it would cost ME £30 to put it right, even though it was their error. Wow! The I was told it would cost £50 if I wanted to cancel a policy I open only 5 minutes earlier. Wow again! Never again will I use this company and avoid as they are only out for your money.

Greedy money pinching scumbags.

They want to charge me £232 to cancel my insurance for a car I don’t even own anymore. I’ve never made a claim. Always paid on time. Here are some of the scandalous charges. Admin fee £50, cancellation fee £50 then a months insurance plus interest.

Horrific and unethical. Avoid at all costs or it will cost.

Horrible company had a moterbike crash had to cancel my policy. As could not afford ro run car they agreed to to cancel and they said there would an admin cost which I accepted. They have sent my file over AJJB Law trying to take me court for £456 of the remaining balance of the insurance which they agreed to cancel.
