Dionne was very helpful and understanding, it’s a very stressful time having a dog with a condition that requires a lot of attention and it’s good to have someone who understands this and helps me to get my claim settled quickly to help with the costs.

I had only recently taken out the insurance for our newly adopted dog because it meets our need for basic cover. I was expecting our claim to be rejected because of the shortness of time, so was pleased that you had met most of my claim. Moshu was with us such a limited time and we were very upset to lose him the way that we did. Your response won’t get him back but has encouraged us to rehome another dog.

These are annual policies and if our pet insurer offers and you accept the renewal terms by agreeing to pay the premiums, you may claim the benefits that are covered by that policy for another policy year.
Please note: you must be able to afford to pay the yearly premiums which increase at renewal based on the age of your pet, claims history and other costs such as enhancements to and inflation costs of veterinary treatments.
For example: The cost of insuring a pet for the Platinum or Gold policy (based on pricing inflation in 2022) can increase between 10% – 20% per annum for pets up to 10 years old, although higher increases could apply. For older pets, the renewal premium could rise by 35% or more each year.

I totally agree with you Dr!
I have all four of my fur babies covered under Petsbest. I always tell others get the insurance when they are younger, it may seem like an inconvenience now but it comes in handy as they age. 😉
