Scooter Insurance: Coverage and Cost

In this video, I look a little closer into scooter insurance for you guys and compare quotes from to different companies. The first scooter/moped insurance company I look into was Geico insurance and the second was Progressive insurance.

Having scooter insurance is necessary and legally required in most states. Primarily because it covers your expenses in the event of scooter damage or injuries to other drivers, passengers or pedestrians.

Some information to know is that many insurance companies cover mopeds and scooters under their motorcycle insurance policies. Almost every motorcycle insurance policy includes bodily injury and property damage liability coverage.

After comparing the to I did discover that the rates were cheaper for progressive insurance. However, take note that the rates or quotes may difference depending on what city or state you live in.
