I am over 71 and going on a visit to Australia for 38 days I’d not realised the restriction of 35 days on my annual policy wished to extend it to cover all. I was advised that I could not do that was covered for 35 days only to cover the extra 3 days I needed an individual policy which was more expensive that the annual policy. That appears to be discriminatory against older people who are in good health.

I’ve used staysure before and find them very easy on the app not being very app savvy so easy to use and cheaper than other holiday insurance also used a discount code which I got from my local paper and it was excepted with no problem I wouldn’t use any other holiday insurance company and tell my friends it’s the best one now they use it also when we all go on holiday together thankyou so much staysure great service

I booked over a year ago for world wide travel as I was recommended by my son….never had any problems so I have just rebooked for another year…. easy to do online fast efficient service ….asked for my documents to be sent out to me so I have a paper copy which I prefer as I am old school received them the other day.

Extensive travel cover at a good price. Easy to get a quote and once registered as a policy holder all docs readily accessible online. Very good email communication including renewal and options to amend previous cover. Never made a claim so unable to comment on this aspect. My second annual policy with Staysure.

I had to call about our renewal as there is a diagnostic test outstanding. The agent was VERY supportive and helpful, giving a lot of faith in the company and the understanding of the issue. She explained very clearly the impact and our next steps once the test and diagnosis is completed.

Cannot stop autorenewal. Can’t get through on the phone. They do not carry out my e mail instructions. I’ve tried to cancel online as I’m not intending to travel, but they’ve just sent renewal documents. Thank goodness I haven’t had to make a claim with this lack of communication.

The lady we dealt with was very reassuring as we had many questions to ask, the whole experience was quite lengthy but all questions were answered. Only if we ever have to make a claim, only then we will know how good Staysure are, but very good so far.

I have used Staysure for a number of years, with no problems up until now. I needed to renew our travel insurance, but there were some changes to be made which couldn’t easily be done on line, so I had to telephone. After nearly an hour on hold the first person couldn’t deal with the renewal, so I had to go back to the queue. I eventually hung up. The person I reached after a very long wait on the second call tried to be helpful but was really difficult to understand and made mistakes. She didn’t give me confidence that the renewal was being done correctly. All in all the renewal was a horrible experience.

I for the third time took out my insurance with Staysure. The gentleman I dealt with was very clear, patient, pleasant and thorough. I am waiting for keyhole surgery, so it’s not always as straight forward as it could be. But it went well.I have asked him to pass on my feedback with reference the Insurance documents. It would be far more ideal to email me with the documents attached. If you have no signal, you cannot obtain them from the website, which I have fell foul of when trying to prove my insurance for a cruise!I have not had to make a claim, so have no idea how good or bad they are in that situation.

Generally a good experience. Had an issue with a rude customer service agent but the issue was dealt with quickly and efficiently after a complaints email. Thankfully haven’t had to make a claim yet so can’t comment on that side of the business.

I have used Stayshure before and found the online process easy to complete haven’t had to make a claim yet but I don’t anticipate any problems, the price had increased but was offset by a 20% discount when applied the cost was reasonable.

I found the staysure site easy to navigate when arranging holiday insurance. The experience went without hitch and was clear and concise. Pre existing conditions was straightforward to cover and the annual price extremely competitive.

Easy to use, competitive price, both myself and husband have medical conditions, plus 1 is 75, so to be able to declare medical conditions and have them accepted at such a reasonable price and without too many questions was great.

We are going on holiday to Japan soon. We are flying from Heathrow to Tokyo via Hong Kong, where we will be for less than 2 hours while we await departure of our connecting flight. When I phoned Staysure to renew our policy I was told that, because we will be landing in Hong Kong, we would need to upgrade our policy to full worldwide cover. The premium would more than double. At that point I didn’t renew the policy.

I phoned again the following day and spoke to a different person. I was told that, because we will be in Hong Kong airport for less than 12 hours and would not leave the airport, we did not need to upgrade the level of cover. At that point we renewed.
