Vavista is a brand of Eldon Insurance, a group that was established in 2007. The Bristol-based broker works with Sabre, Southern Rock, and Watford to source insurance policies for its customers, providing cover for private cars, light commercial vans, and bikes. It aims to offer insurance that is good quality and affordable, and can even accommodate some more specialist vehicles such as vintage cars or those with modifications.

Vavista offers third party only; third party, fire and theft; and comprehensive cover to its customers. Whilst third party only tends to be a very basic policy with only the legal minimum of protection, the other two cover levels may come with some extra features. For example, they may come with: glass cover, key cover, fitted in-car entertainment and navigation equipment cover, personal belongings cover, medical expenses, personal accident cover, use of a courtesy car, and overnight accommodation and transport following a claim. These aren’t guaranteed to be included with every policy, so drivers should check their documents to confirm what cover is actually included.

If drivers want extra protection, Vavista offers some optional policy extensions that they can purchase for an additional cost. These include excess protection, misfuel cover, motor legal expenses, breakdown cover, and key cover, as well as windscreen cover if this is not already covered by the standard policy.

Vavista also aims to help the health of its policyholders by giving them access to different health and wellbeing programmes and resources. They work with wellbeing professionals to encourage policyholders to make positive changes to their lifestyle, which is all included as part of Vavista’s insurance package.
